About the Sale

The Tot, the Teen, and the Wardrobe Consignment Sale is organized by Jennifer Higdon and Stephanie Higdon, sisters in law, two self-proclaimed professional bargain shoppers, who came up with the great idea of bringing this consignment sale to the Owensboro area. Both are mothers who realize the “need” for a little help from time to time. They hope this sale will “help” you get lots of great bargains for your children from newborns to college age students.

The Tot, the Teen, and the Wardrobe Consignment Sale is different than retail consignment stores because our merchandise is priced below retail consignment stores at near garage sale prices, and our clients make a higher percentage 70/30 of their consigned items, whereas most consignment shops offer a 50/50.

The Tot, the Teen, and the Wardrobe Consignment Sale is better than garage sales because you will not waste valuable mommy time, gas, and patience driving all over town in search of a bargain. In addition, all of our items are inspected for current style, wear, stains, seasonal appropriateness, and freedom from odors. Outdated clothing does not sell and will not be accepted. As we all know, you have to search a lot of garage sales to find quality items. No need to scavenger those garage sales anymore; we will bring 100s of garage sales to one location.

You can make some $$$$$ and sell your children's’ items at The Tot, the Teen, and the Wardrobe Consignment Sale by insuring their quality, preparing them for display, tagging them, and dropping them off at a designated time. You must have at least 15 items to participate in The Tot, the Teen, and the Wardrobe Consignment Sale . There will be no need to have a yard sale this year where people show up at your house the day before your sale, at 5 a.m. , or after you have closed shop.

There will be no need for you to baby sit your sale, advertise your sale, acquire tables, go to the bank, worry about parking at your home, or converse with those crazy bargain shoppers again. After the sale, you can donate or pickup your items at an appointed time, and The Tot, the Teen, and the Wardrobe will mail you a check within 2 weeks if you use our bar-coded tagging system, whereas consignment shops typically have a 30-90 wait.

All consignors receive two passes to a PRESALE on the night before the sale opens to the general public at 7:00 p.m. and can pre-shop at our half-off sale. This is the best way for you to see all the great bargains before the general public. Consignors get first choice on all the great Gymboree, Ralph Lauren, Tommy, Little Me, and Abercrombie clothes.

Consignors have the opportunity to volunteer and shop before other consignors at a special Volunteer Pre-Sale. Consignors who volunteer get “first dibs” on all merchandise.
